I have had 3 tasks from this new batch stuck for days. I don't always check BOINC everyday because I assume it is running just fine. Out of the 3 or 4 I have aborted for running 3 or some odd days, this (see below) is the only one that has been completed by 2 other computers. The others have not recycled in the queue yet. I am not sure you will find anything in the STDERR output as I aborted it, but maybe there is a clue somewhere in there as to why it got stuck? https://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/workunit.php?wuid=998923337 |

Do you allow BOINC to use 100% of CPU time? If not, that's the reason. ![]() |

Do you allow BOINC to use 100% of CPU time? If not, that's the reason. Good answer. I had downgraded it a month or so back because windows was going nuts due to a bad patch I guess, because after the previous update (before this last one) everything is stable again. So now it back to 100. Might help with the cancellations I have been getting. |
