Hi Matthew

I was searching for a wheelchair character but then found this somewhere strange and yellow is my fave colour and its like a spaceman. Cant recall where, sorry.

Lisa :)

It looks like it is from A childrens Tv show. :o)

It sounds as though that's an astute observation....

And thanks for the friend invite. Now how much did they pay you?

... and green stamps?

Ahh yes, I think it might be the story written by the red head who used to be a royal.

Not in the UK no. The Co-op also used to have blue stamps. Trading stamps went out of fashion, as customers preferred lower prices instead. Same happened to ciggarette coupons like Kensitas.

They have all been replaced by loyalty cards such as Nectar etc.

No, I'm rather overweight for a woman, due to my limited mobility and the futon was only meant as an occasional bed, guest bed, sofa bed. However, I've used it for years. The inner frame has snapped. The one side does look like its meant to snap that way (zig-zag, for some reason)but the other is too extensive a split in inner frame wood. I went to Ikea today; what a rip-off for what seems to be trash beds... I was really surprised. This woman did my head in and got stroppy when I insisted I really could do with a 'metal' framed bed, and what 'difference did I assume a metal set of bars under a mattress might do that slats wouldn't?'I left her to her judgmental bossiness and spent almost four hours in the whole shop mooching. Had some famous Ikea meatballs too... mmm.

I'm going to do as Phil has suggested, put post on gumtree and still consider Argos, as they do have one but its just very plain.

I had fun tonight putting together a 6-feet tall pine and material wardrobe, which almost killed me from my wheelchair, but I love doing these things. Ever seen a wardrobe mangled round a person in a wheelchair? :P

Lisa

Hi Lisa, Yeah If Yer on the heavier side things tend to dent or break and so I get things that don't like the bed I sleep in for about 6-6.5 hours, Yeah It's wood and very little metal and It cost Me enough, But It's pretty good, The mattress is pretty stiff though and Angel would rather sleep on the partly broken Lane sofa in the living room(it was used as a bed by two different people for a time(at different times) and It has a largely metal frame), But She's My 17.5 Year old Calico Cat. Oh and as to weight, Yeah I'm pretty hefty at around 370lbs and I'm Disabled, But I've only used a wheelchair once and then I was pushed around the whole time by My relatives(I did try and help at times though and I'm in the last Pic and I'm the only one sitting down and this was with friends and family at Disneyland back in 2007).

Hi Super,

Thanks for the nice post. Lovely cat! Mines like that. The bed looks mighty fine. My new one, which is metal is working itself loose so might have to do some DIY soon. Great to see you on the photo.

Lisa :)

Might try some lock washers or lock nuts. Should keep it from loosening.
