I have this Project set to "Suspended by user & Won't get new Tasks" yet every time I turn around I have Wu's trying to Download to various Box's of mine & their messing up my Internet Connections for the other Projects I'm running.

I don't want them, I don't need them & I'm not going to run them at this time so "STOP SENDING ME ANY MORE FREAKING WORK" ... ;)

Remember, it's the Boinc-Client requesting, the project isn't pushing any work.

Yeah I know, was just letting off some steam because the Work that gets sent never seems to download fully so I have to abort the Downloads all the Time and it gets tedious after awhile doing that.

Are you sure you're not confusing this with Cosmology? I have that issue at Cosmology, but not here...

No, their MWay Wu's, at least thats what they say they are in the Transfer Window of the BOINC Manager, they never finish Downoading though even if I Manually try to get them to Download. I get 4-5 a day on various Box's ...

What BOINC client version are you using?
I remember one of the previous versions had a bug in this and leaded to this behaviour, but I forgot which version.
Try to update to another newer one then.

Okay...
Seems you can put another bug of it to this thread here. ;-) (I see you already posted another thing there)
Maybe a downgrade helps then.
As far as I can say, I'm still using 6.3.21 and never had any problems with it, no matter if it's GPU- or MilkyWay- or other work...

The only problem I'm having at the moment with 6.4.5 is getting the WU to run normal always running 4 core high priority.

NNT working okay as well as suspension.

Only receive when get new WU's and then it tops up to 32 and back into HP.

Anybody else seeing this problem.

I've seem to always have high priority on this and Rosetta. I think it may have started for me when I went to 5.10.45. but Mw seems to add to it and always runs hp, whereas rosetta will sometimes. It may be due to the short return. Many projects are 7-14 days or longer.
Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected?
If it makes sense, DON'T do it.

The tight and/or short deadline is the primary cause. If I have any other work on my system, BOINC will run MW tasks only until all of them have been cleared. I'm using 5.8.16. Two other things adding to it for me is that I have been shutting down my computer at night, and I will turn BOINC off if I'm playing any "3D" games, thus my fraction of time that BOINC is running has been getting lowered, so there is less time to get the work completed by deadline.

Average turnaround time 0.24 days
% of time BOINC client is running 74.6733 %
While BOINC running, % of time work is allowed 99.9772 %
Average CPU efficiency 0.93436
Task duration correction factor 0.139839
