Currently this site is slower than molasses in the wintertime. Some pages won't load at all before they timeout. The server at milkyway.cs.rpi.edu is taking too long to respond.

Yup, I agree. At times it's slow.
Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected?
If it makes sense, DON'T do it.
