Is there an optimised app for Windows that is currently being granted credit? I believe msattler is using an app based around V0.13....

I believe there are a few apps. Noone has posted a link. Nor has travis said there is one to use.

There are a few out there that are granting credit. But since no one has posted them on our forums I don't know if I should go around posting their names here :P

I think we're going to try and compile our own version of the windows apps with SSE flags to see if we can get our optimized versions available for people to use.

Isn't that supposed to be a no-no at this time?

I thought that too?!? As I understood it, if it wasnt the "stock" windows app or an officially "sanctioned" linux, etc... optomized app, we were NOT supposed to be using it as it would not grant us credits. But now you are saying there are some "rogue" optimized windows apps that people are still using, you obviously know who they are, yet you continue to let them run and grant them credit even after you told everyone that that would not be the case?!?!? If you are going to continue to let these apps be run and continue to grant their results credit; then by all means; SAY WHAT APP IT IS!!!!!!!!

No thats not the case. The application just needs to be compiled with the instructions in the code discussion forum so i know where it's coming from and can make a post if it's returning invalid results. The optimized applications out there at the moment seem to be returning good results and are using the naming scheme so they're being awarded credits.

Oh I get it. More credit whore scheming. If all these apps are going to be kept private than you have the potential of dealing with hundreds of apps if everyone with the ability writes their own. Good luck with that.

I would guess at least SSE3 but maybe also SSSE3. Better you try CPU-Z - it will tell you. :-)))

Before I go loading these up..

Have these apps been tested and approved and return valid results..

I don't see an "out" file associated with it so I can not tell.

Test results please.

I've done it some time ago. It was in the range Travis declared to be ok.

But I thought within your team circulates already another version (made by Crunch3r?). At least msattler was saying this.
