OK, so they have now been reported in this forum, they have been reported as tested, and Travis says they are OK. Shouldn't grant credit w/out the app name mod. And it's been out so Travis would have seen it. If it was 'bad' then he would have pointed it out right? Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected? If it makes sense, DON'T do it. |

OK, so they have now been reported in this forum, they have been reported as tested, and Travis says they are OK. If it's been granting credit it should be fine. I don't know what the tag is for that application. |

OK, so they have now been reported in this forum, they have been reported as tested, and Travis says they are OK. It's being granted credit and thanks for confirming it's fine Travis. The original source of these apps is a few posts down; http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/forum_thread.php?id=601&nowrap=true#9598 |

[quote][quote]So how are "we" (and Admin) to know if these have been altered appropriately? I think SETI has gotten us used to seeing it, with included props, kudos and accolades, in the stderr out. me@rescam.org |

Sorry, check here Click That depends on yoru CPU. Both my early Athlon 64 have only SSE2 (guaranteed to be on all 64-bit CPUs). My E6750 has SSSE3. My next system will have SSE3. It'll be a few months before I ahve a system that supports SSE4.1 :) Hopefully you saw the post recommending that you use CPU-Z to test what your CPU supports :) |

OK, so they have now been reported in this forum, they have been reported as tested, and Travis says they are OK. Maybe you should add a note to the SSE3_x64 labeled 64Bit Windows app, that it is actually a GPU app requiring an ATI HD38x0 or HD48x0 card and the Catalyst 8.12 or 9.1 driver. |
