I'd forgotten about that. Thank you very much Misfit for that additional link - 10/10 for the site name. (Godaddy is great - I get free hosting ;) Of course creditsathome.com is easier to remember. :P (Provided someone stops having GoDaddy fantasies.) |

Okay, I have mine up now as well. Borrow away if it helps the forum out. Let's face it, the more help we give each other the better.
I don't know about this, don't understand it at all, so I'll leave this for you to host arkayn ;) |

I am setting up a new domain for zslip.com which should come on line within the next 24 to 48 hours. Thanks Debs. I'll leave a copy of zslip on my Indian site for a while, just in case the sky falls in again ;) |

I have this temporary resource in place; The above link is now a redirect to zslip.com. I have started to update zslip pending the the arrival of 'home for GPUs', although who knows what will be needed outside of the MilkyWay forums. |

I have this temporary resource in place; I certainly would. :D You'll have to start an optimized thread at the GPU project when they open the forums. Right now only team threads can be created. me@rescam.org |

Do these work on a HD3650? As far as the conventional wisdom goes, NO. You need either the HD38xx or the HD48xx graphics cards. Some other person my be able to demonstrate that the HD3650 has the necessary double precision capability to run the 0.19e MW GPU client, but I don't think so. Go away, I was asleep |

Now if I can get some work on the Quad, I can see how fast I can crunch a unit on the 4830 that is in there. |

I need some help please. This is my cpu according to PC Wizard 2008 you will notice it says my Intel P4 has the SSE3 feature. But when I fire up the BOINC Client it says nothing about SSE3. Up until now I have been running WinXP Home SP3 32Bit and no problems with your opti-app, I guess because your Win 32bit ver 0.19 is kind of a "one size fits all" app and is good for SSE2 or SSE3. But now, I have set up my machine to dual boot and the new OS is Linux Ubuntu 9.04 64Bit. I already tried your 0.18d mkII for Linux 64Bit but that gave me errors. So now I'm trying to figure out which Linux opti-app to try. Can you advise which app I should use for Linux 64Bit SSE2 ? |

I think I recall that BOINC only lists the features that the OS recognises. For some reason XP doesn't report SSE3, so neither does BOINC. The Prescot line of P4s has SSE3. |

Linux Ubuntu 9.04 64Bit Have you checked if all library files needed are present on that machine. When you use a (64 bit) machine does not mean its not in need of some libraries. Most common mistake made is not installing the 32 bit needed files, since most projects are just running as 32 bit application under linux. To be honest its not only a mistake made with linux ;) On most 64 bits os people forget 6 out of 10 that their projects are in fact 32 bits applications made to run on 64 bits os. There are only a few real 64 bits applications which really make use of it, and most of them have a little more performance over their 32 bit siblings |

I have a number of P4's that can run SSE3 but are only reported as SSE2 capable. However, the performance difference between the two opti apps is very small, and in day to day terms can be discounted. |
