Is that for linux or 'doze? Either way choose your poison -> http://zslip.com/milkyway.htm. Select a 0.19 version to suit your requirements. Since your cpu is capable of SSE3 then choose that, but it is not measureably faster than the SSE2 version - but that might be different under 64 bit versus 32 bit.

Does anyone actually have an SX processor with coprocessor working on BOINC, I wonder!

or what?

Something like a Pentium I that didnt support MMX.

[edit]But I suspect an early Pentium with the FDIV bug wouldnt manage to meet the workunit deadline[/edit]

A reminder and to new users;

zslip.com is a web site that hosts downloads for optimized applications which have been developed by third parties for MilkyWay@home crunching. Links to posts are provided which help with the use of the optimized apps, and you can always post your questions on the MilkyWay forums.

Good luck with your crunching, and good luck with the optimized apps. Thanks again to Cluster Physik and speedimic, and to others concerned, for developing and testing these apps for us.

Instead of credits I'm working on a way for the project to issue gold coins via old 3.5 floppy drive bay. If you are too technologically advanced to still have one of those the project will detect this and the project server, directed by a script, will hammer your internet connection; specifically your BOINC ports. Once the goal of issuing gold coins has been worked out a hostile corporate takeover of Pirates@home will commence.

Its okay I still have a floppy installed, and its impossible to hammer it - squeak squeak boink, squee....
Of course if you really want to do something amazing you could "unhammer" anyone's broken ZIP drives and get them working again.

I have added two more countries from which zslip has had visitors; Taiwan and Thailand.

There have been 483 vistors this week, with a daily average now of 69.

The last visitor was from Bratislava, Slovakia. I went to Slovakia on a motor bike once. This photo was taken a few miles away from Bratislava.

But the JAZZ drives were so much better.
