You're already paying for those graphic cards.

How many computers do you have to have on a project before you become a credit whore?

Do you know where your computers have been? Mines tied down, it doesn't get out much. :P
Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected?
If it makes sense, DON'T do it.

Have any strange laptops been over?

One tried. The guard dogs made short work of it.

If you do a Google image search for credit whore you get BOINC avatars on pages 2 and 3. :D

I had a strange desktop come over once. It was assimilated into my farm. :)

My computers are far more active than me. And they are so attractive that new computers are lining up to join them (but sadly my electric bill is not begging for them to join the fun! :) )

Thanks for all the help folks, but I will put off using my recently acquired 3870 for crunching until an official app supporting ATI gpu's is available. I just couldn't get anything done (other than crunching) with 0.19b or 0.19d, with either 8.12 (which did not want to install in my machine) or 9.1 drivers. I will however keep crunching with the optimized AMD app in my Dell, and in my Mac Pro. Not as fast to crunch, sure, but at least I won't stop contributing.

So it was working only the system was more or less unresponsive?

I'm working on that and it will hopefully much better with 0.19e.

Yes, it was creating a few seconds delay in doing pretty much everything other than crunching. Sometimes my cursor to would become jerky. I appreciate your hard work Cluster Physik, and others too, and I can't wait to put the 3870 back to crunching in the near future.

Now this is interesting, I seem ti have finally gotten the GPU app running well(its been going for about 10 hours with no crash), but it has actually powered down my USB mouse! Anyone ever have that happened before?
