*Feels honoured to have trod the same stairs as President Obama*

In fact it's more accurate to say that President Obama has trodden the same stairs as you! So he should feel honoured!

Maybe we should start a "which famous person have you met" thread. Or a 6 degrees of separation thread.

6 degrees of separation would be interesting. Living in London you meet quite a few celebs.

There is an application on facebook that told me I was Obama's cousin the other day. Never mind just walking up the same stairs once! :D We're related!

(Although it has also told half a dozen of my friends that they are his cousin too so I suspect it might not actually be true)

A 6 degrees of separation thread would be interesting to explore and see what connections it throws up (known and stumbled on).

Living in a rural village, the chances of meeting celebs is as remote as pulling hen's teeth.

You're up early on this Friday morn (looks to be nice and sunny outside).

See you after the 9.00am (or before) school delivery.

Ooops! I see what you mean!

LOL* And why is he called Teflon Tony? *scratching my head* ;-)))

He was awarded that monika by the UK press because of his 10 years of seemingly getting away it on numerous occasions, when various misdeeds or accusations threatened his premiership. The sad thing is that I can still remember when Politicians and the people who worked for them were looked up to and respected as senior members of society. That time has long gone.

Now they are considered to be in the same category as car sales spivs and estate agents. No honour and out to get their snout in the public money trough.

Its nice to see the double use of ROT-13 encryption to ensure the integrity of secret messages.

Ah ok, now I understand... ;-)
Btw, my first guessing and association about the "Teflon" in Tony's name was because of his hairdo and the probable use of styling gel. *LOL*

You're so right... "politician" has almost become an invective.
