I'm attempting to fix my son's x-box. I've had it in pieces inside a shoe box for the last week, but I'm getting tired of him hogging the pc. If it doesn't work he's going to have to wait until his birthday to get a new one.

Yeah. I tried cleaning the GPU chip yesterday. Now I have an E73. Mainly because you are supposed to overheat it after to melt and rest the solder which i haven't done yet. I'll try today or tomorrow and let you know how that goes.

This XBox has suffered through so much in the last year. I don't think they are the best machines.
