I read something once on Canadian Geese. Don't know if it's true... (you read so much stuff on the net.) But Canadian Geese are the only monogamous birds around. And if a mate gets hit by a car or dies an untimely death in someway. His (her) mate will stay nearby until he (she) eventually dies.

I thought that was interesting. And somewhat sweet in a weird way. (If not a bit crazy.)

We get the Canadian Geese on the pond outside my window. Don't know about drunk, but they can get very noisy. Actually..knowing the area they are more likely to be on Crack.

When I was up at York Uni some years ago for an OU summer school, the place was over-run by geese, and I'm pretty sure they were the Canada type!

Correct. I felt sorry for the mates that should have to sit there for ages..

Theres lots of water in my part of London and they always seem to turn up just after dusk, spooky when you walk along a quiet road in the dark and someone says blart from nearby.

There are many feral flocks of these very noisy things that come around in bunches of about 20 like demented starlings, mind you theyre very entertaining to see hanging upside down trying to eat peanuts.
