I can't get an opt CPU app to run on my comp. All the wu's just corrupt. I shut down the running client and put the files in the folder. Restart the client and it runs the stock app. Shutdown the client delete the stock app all wu's corrupt on restart. PhenomII Vista64 bit I tried the SSE2 and SSE3 zips of the .19 files. It doesn't seem to read the app_info file. Can someone set me straight please. |

Didn't see this post first. Same as here: http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/forum_thread.php?id=631&nowrap=true#15126 Shut boinc down. Delete the stock app. Add the opti app w/app file. Restart boinc. Make sure that boinc exits running. If you start it up too soon it will cause them all to error, not recognizing the opti app. Sometimes I've had the wu's error, since they want to run off the wrong app. When the next bunch come in it should be fine. SSe 2 should definately work, sse3 may also for you. Vista uses sse4.1, Xp sse2 or sse3. Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected? If it makes sense, DON'T do it. |

Phenom II's have SSE4a. I assume that's not the same as SSE4.1 or SSE4.2. |

Your Phenom II can do SSE3, nothing above it. SSSE3 and SSE4.1 are Intel instruction sets only. SSE4a is an extension of SSE3 for AMD processors. |

wipe your telephoto lens off, it's smudged. Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected? If it makes sense, DON'T do it. |

Thoroughly wiped, all camera equipment cleaned - in readiness for my Caribbean cruise in just over a week. |
