ok i think i found out the problem. for some reason one of the files on the server got corrupt - so even though it looked like the assimilator and validator were running, they were locked up. once the assimilator crunches through all the work in the queue there should be new work available. sorry for the late response, but it's been crunch time for a publication thats due out the 16th. i hope things will be back up and running in an hour or so (depending on how long the assimilator takes).

we're still working with labstaff to figure out whats wrong with our server, there might be some kind of hardware problem thats been making things so flakey.

One cruncher is happy with 17 in the que.
Three had a lot of other work and just got a few, now no more work.
Two out of 3 from the P4 are pending, I never had that here before but the status page shows a lot pending so they will get credit.

i was running the assimilator and validator manually again (because of the last set of problems), and of course milkyway went down :P i've started them back up again, so there should be work.

I have had a few more error out with a pop-up window, and a couple 'pause' while the mext one starts. Are these problems being looked into?

yeah, i think maybe a WU or two got corrupt with the previous crash - some of the population files for the server looked a bit off, which might have caused this.

on another note, is the work flowing? everything looks to be running correctly from my end but i wanted to make sure.

Travis -Looks good from here.....earlier today I saw the server go down though....seems it takes it a while to start resending work out after this happens...up to a few hours....hope that gets fixed soon because the http errors due to scores of waiting uploads shut my network down :(

I think it might need an auto setting for when it re-boots as well as being checked and manually reset. It doesn't seem that either by itself is lasting for too long.
