It's a looooooong weekend for most folks in the U.S. I suspect that includes the elves that hand craft our work-units.

Oh, and note that the Server Status page has a specific error state called "Out of Work Units" or some such, but is happily reporting that all is well.

This project ran out of work at arround 11.30am this morning.

I got a few random work units overnight but they were probably old units returned. Looks like we won't be seeing anything new until tuesday.

We were having some problems with our assimilator crashing, so it wasn't generating new work. These should be fixed now so the work should be coming steadily again.

It seems like we still have a problem. I took 2 of my quads off the project until it gets straightened out.

Sorry about that everyone, one of the files on the server that was used to generate work units went missing (of course while i was sleeping), and everything crashed to a screeching halt. on another note, work is back and i'm updating the assimilator tonight so we'll be starting to do particle swarm optimization in addition to genetic search.

Travis,

work units are flowing again. However, these are extremly short units, just 22 seconds each. These might overflow the servers, since BOINC contacts the server almost continuosly.

Ugh ok, it looks like i didnt fix one of the parameter files. thanks for mentioning this. work should be back to normal after these work their way out of the system.
