Ugh ok, it looks like i didnt fix one of the parameter files. thanks for mentioning this. work should be back to normal after these work their way out of the system.

Or not...

I'm deferring for more than an hour because of no work from project. But at least that gives my computer time to work on the only task still in queue, that of Malaria. All other projects have a debt that makes it quite impossible for them to fetch much work, or they are also out of work. ;-)

I stopped making work while fixing the problem and updating the assimilator. There should be more work available now and it should be running for the appropriate time :)

I'll also be starting up some particle swarm searches shortly so that should keep the work flowing for quite some time.

I like it...

01-Dec-07 2:47:10|Milkyway@home|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. Requesting 0 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks
01-Dec-07 2:47:15|Milkyway@home|Scheduler request succeeded: got 0 new tasks
01-Dec-07 2:47:15|Milkyway@home|[sched_ops_debug] Server version 511
01-Dec-07 2:47:15|Milkyway@home|Project requested delay of 7.000000 seconds
01-Dec-07 2:47:15|Milkyway@home|[sched_op_debug] Deferring communication for 46 min 14 sec
01-Dec-07 2:47:15|Milkyway@home|[sched_op_debug] Reason: no work from project

So, my BOINC is asking zero seconds of work and not getting it either as there's no work from project. :-)

Are you running any other Boinc projects?

I sure do. No need to go explain to me the ins and outs of BOINC, I know why it did that: Long term debt. I'd just gotten a new Einstein task in, so at that moment MAH wouldn't get work, as EAH's estimated duration was still being 'checked'. MAH has fetched work in the mean time.

I was just laughing about the zero work request and BOINC going into a deferral cycle as there was no work. :-)

Since 45 minutes all seems o.k. again.
I could transfer my results, got credits and got new WUs.

Good job!

No work again. Pipeline seems to be empty.

Looks like it is broken again. The question is for how long.

it looks more like they collect all workunits out to the clients.

Perhaps the new client code is almost ready (with the more difficult WUs)

I think it has more to do with the project going down for a while this weekend. Ever since it came up I haven't seen any WUs.

work should be ready shortly. the computer crashed again over the weekend (i have our labstaff looking into why it's been randomly locking up on us). i'm running some stuff to clean the database and after that there should be work again (think 15-20 minutes).

no problem :) it just took awhile to get them to start flowing again because there were a few too many in the database slowing things down. i had to run a purge to get things running smoothly again :)
