On my 4850, I'm hitting a theoretical max of 0.93 credits per second. Has anyone got greater than or equal to 1 credit per second per GPU? I'd imagine a 4870 would walk it in. |

I think the best I've managed was about one point ever 2.4 seconds. But then again, my GPU sits idle fairly often with no work, or the driver crashes while I'm at work or sleeping, and my GPU isn't overclocked much, if at all. |

When the GPU client first came out, I think I hit some lucky WUs. I was averaging 1.21 C/S. Now, It's around 0.96. This is on a non-overclocked 4850. |

I have a standard clock 4850 too, but it still runs about 35 seconds per 2 WUs(simultaneous)... which now that I think about it is pretty good C/S... maybe is just how often it has no work. |

Try the latest 0.19e client which uses much less cpu time. 1 credit per 1-2 cpu seconds is pretty doable with a 48xx card running 0.19e. Granted, that's not clock time or gpu time. The older ATI versions used much more cpu time to wait for the gpu to get done. Kudos to C.P. on the oustanding work done to develop the ATI apps and use so little cpu time. |

I grabbed the 19e and actually it seems the WUs take longer to complete wall clock time, but yeah, I did notice even less cpu usage. even on 19d I was getting a max of three seconds CPU time, but these are averaging 0 or 1 it seems. I increased my n variable back up to 3, and it so far it seems to be punching out 3 just as fast as 2, so I guess that makes up for the longer time. |
