I just noticed that as well -- wondering if the changes might temporarily stop CPU work units until one thing or another gets fixed.... I'm assuming this has something to do with the change, even though server status shows exactly 1000 WU's available. |

Dave, Travis, or anyone else, if you're reading this, I found the reason why the links to the user pages from the search page aren't working. There's a typo. For example, searching my name gives this result: http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkway_gpu/show_user.php?userid=13 However, if I fix the typo and make it: http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway_gpu/show_user.php?userid=13 The link works. |

I've noticed that cpu wu's are twice the usual size!I have one running now at 86% with 43 mins runtime already with 6 mins left. KOOL!!! So i guess they made them bigger for gpu's? I take that back! Dont know what happened there, but if its doubled in size I cant find it in my tasks. My next task also says it will take 48 mins? Whats up with that? |

it says to me that acc is already there with my e-mail..... must be copying User DB over to gpu side to make it easier???? Your account page is here: http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway_gpu/show_user.php?userid=21 The DB isn't being copied from what I can tell, only 22 accounts so far. Edit: Beremat Action News 5 Live Update! The whole website just got its style on. Font size is now bigger and there's a background. Logging in now works, and you can edit your profile, I think. The typo was fixed, and creating a team is possible. It's all coming together, all that's left is the replacement of "INSERT PROJECT NAME HERE" and creation of Wus. Two teams are created, and as the population count grows past 25, citizens of Milkyway_GPU are worried about overpopulation. |

Please don't register for the gpu site yet. I'm still not done with it and the database is going to get refreshed (which means all you accounts are going to get deleted). Dave Przybylo MilkyWay@home Developer Department of Computer Science Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute |

I'll be done with my part hopefully tonight or tomorrow. Then it's up to Travis to get the apps up. I'm not sure if he's done with them yet but hopefully they're ready for alpha testing. Dave Przybylo MilkyWay@home Developer Department of Computer Science Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute |

Let us hope so, then we can all register and test. I assume ATI GPUs, used for the main client (0.19), will not work on the GPU units, and an nVidia card is needed? Go away, I was asleep |

Dave, I think part of the reason people are curious is because of the new "no jobs available" messages we're getting right now. -jim |

Ah, that would explain how come I am user ID #8. I should have read the forums before I registered there, but was more concerned to make sure I am working than communicating :) |
