is, that the projects have actually Made It Possible for thieves... It doesnt
have to be like that at all. There are much better ways to handle foundership-
requests and such. But this time its an account. that means, either they have got to know login details, or hacked it. But I find it very difficult to
belive that anyone should care about doing the last one... ;p If I was a
hacker, I would have consentrate on someone esle, with much higher credit.

I dont know how the story will end yet.. becuase it can well be someone who has
gone nuts.. Human minds can be hacked as well..of its own little green man. ;-))

Well... it can often be rather quiet in a place when the people who shall be there has other things to do also.. lol. That is probably something we all
have to get used to. Some days so and some days so... But its all up to ourselves - ;-)

I discovered Foldit earlier this week and joined [I'm not very good at it].
Reading the FAQ [in the hopes of getting better at it] I saw mention of Rosetta, which I'd previously heard of but never thought of joining.
I joined up and have it running on my laptops, folding by cpu [no gpu client] is much easier than trying to do it by hand.
I looked for a team, found sici, joined.
In light of your problems earlier I clicked the 'assume foundership of this team' link. I got this:

The team found transfer option has been disabled due to users abusing this feature.

If you have a legitimate request to transfer foundership send your request to dekim at u.washington.edu.

It looks like it was previously very easy to transfer foundership of a team to yourself, probably just by clicking the link.
Nice to see they've closed off that obvious security hole [unless the perpetrators are friends of dekim]. You may be able to get the stolen foundership back if you write a nice email to the contact person at the appropriate project. FWIW, you're still founder of Rosetta sici unless its been taken over by someone with almost the same name [Founder AriZonaMoon].

Hello Verstapp! ;-) Yes, the team you have joined in Rosetta is the right
one. I have not searched to see if there are others with similar name created
there also.. but anyhow you are in the right one. Another way to tell this is to follow the links of the founder-name, and see where you end up.. evt. in one of my other accounts in a nother project, or the arizonamoon.eu website. Stealth Eagle has made the Siciutradastra.-team in some few projects also.. So where he is the founder, its also correct. Anyhow, if in doubt, its only to ask.. And also, if any member wants to join in a project where ive not created the team yet.. they just tell me, and i will make it. ;-) (what about this Foldit? I dont know what it is.. Shold a team accout be created there?)

Well..I dont know what may have happend with the foundership-request in Rosetta. And im not sure if it works the same way in all projects. But i.e. in Seti, if clicking that link, it gives a 90 days relay - Within these days it "by right" shall be able for the founder to deny it. But if away, and no internet access, that will not happen, and the foundership will Automaticly be tramsfered to the one making the claim. I know about people who has been away in other countires with little and no int.access for longer time.. and people who has been ill and in hospital without being able to control this.. Also i guess there may happen "foults" in the feature.. where it goes automatic long before the 90 days.

About this team, Sicituradastra. there has been some abuse before. See my PM.

When I clicked on the team link in Rosetta and saw all the same members there as I see here I guessed it was the right one.
Foldit is here.
In short it is folding proteins by hand rather than have the computer do it for you, equivalent to sewing by hand rather than using a sewing machine [you can make prettier patterns but it takes a long time], and the idea is to make a game of it so that you can waste endless hours trying to fold your protein even tighter.

It is probably not worth making a team there at the moment. Perhaps if all the other sici members here say that they are joining there and will never come back here...

eventuelt - eventually / by chance, or similar.. ;-)

Many languages have them, generally contractions of phrases.
English has etc, a contraction of et cetera [latin].
Also atm [=at the moment], mostly used by those in england, but spreading...

This is weird. I have completed three WUs for Seti today and we show over 30,000 for the RAC and we have been climbing in credit right along. If you look at this link, You will see that we have accumulated quite a bit of credit in Seti over the last day. So maybe BoincStats is not working right.

Im sorry Ive not told much about my trip in here yet.. Its so busy in
Seti at the moment.. im not sure whats happening ;-) but its good!

You all just have to have patience with me, I guess... but I already
know you have... or noone would have been around anyhow... hehe
