Frak Me is back up. Had to start from scratch because of a take down order from the lawyers of Glenn Larson. For some crazy reason he thinks he has those words copyrighted. He'll have to sue Ronald Moore and David Eike first for using them for 4 seasons. The lawyers at Paramount said it was OK to use so the jokes on him. What can I say. Some truths are stranger than fiction. And I know a good fiction when I see it. I also like the half naked brunette dancing for me there. me@rescam.org |

I discovered I had the last 2-hour episode of BSG still in my DVR. So I watched it again. Nice. me@rescam.org |

I did two major upgrades last night, Vista Service pack 2 and Firefox 3.5. The new FF is fast! And from what I've read about Vista SP2 it's much less resource demanding than what SP1 was. They both seem to work fine so far... "I'm trying to maintain a shred of dignity in this world." - Me |

I only have Vista on a laptop and right now it's getting no upgrades - just getting turned off to stop adding to the heat.... |

Hi Ice! :-D The Vista SP2 just came last night, at least the Danish version. You really should think about having it installed, they have taken care of a lot of the resource problems in the previous versions. I thought about getting Windows 7 as soon as it was out, but I read that it's not a seamless upgrade from Vista, you'll have to do a lot yourself, taking backup of everything, having the harddrive formatted and then make a clean install of Windows 7, where after you must install all your programs on that. So I don't know if I want the hassle, and I don't even know if those of my favorite programs can run on it. I'm not unhappy with Vista, I'd say I'm positively surprised of it, it runs fine on my computer. And with the new SP2 it should run even better. Microsoft has promised some special discount upgrade prices on Windows 7 but so far there's no signs of that they will give them here, so if I have to pay at least 120€ for it and I can't be sure that it will work well with my programs, I think I'll pass. Hi Ice! :-D Hi Fuzzy! ;) I'm not sure about a Danish version, but I will be sure to look out for a SP2 upgrade. I don't think I'll go to all that trouble of upgrading to Windows 7 - hold on, of course I will. I'd be using XP if I could find the drivers for my laptop, and Windows 7 sounds OK from what I've heard. |

Which stands for Virtual Club. It's from the new pre-BSG Caprica television series. In the pilot episode it's an online holographic virtual reality party place where anything goes to the limit of technology. Here that means the limit of Admin's patience. Post away. Has the Caprica series started yet? |

Not until this fall. Although the Caprica pilot DVD has been out for a while now. me@rescam.org |
