I have a ATI 2600 XT that was replaced by a gtx 260...... i've just had to re-load windows on my moms work computer and wondering if i should leave the 2600 xt card in their since Milky-GPU is coming on and it can use it i believe correct? for the past 2 months, the card has been sitting in a psu box.... |

I doubt that the 2600 could be used on MW-GPU at all as it takes a card with double precision capabilities to crunch the work. Right now that is the 38xx, 4770, 48xx, Tesla C1060, GeForce GTX 280 and GTX 295. |

I doubt that the 2600 could be used on MW-GPU at all as it takes a card with double precision capabilities to crunch the work. The GTX 260, 275 and 285 also fall in this category. Actually everything that is GT200 based. On the ATI side it would be RV670, RV770, RV790 and (probably) RV740. |
