I agree, stats based on the BOINC core client model can be compared, but if you are using an optimized app for a project, then you are apples and oranges. The science is getting done, sure, but to lump those credits in with other projects that do not use an optimised app makes that whole credit issue meaningless. It's like Conan says, doing my bit for science. It's not about credits, but about doing science in different projects, or just one project. I have been slowly cutting back for several months and will soon be cutting back even more. Real life issues and well, just getting tired of trying to keep everything running.
