I have run out of Milkyway work, and have many finished units waiting to report. I see the servers are showing the following - Server status Program Host Status data-driven web pages milkyway Running upload/download server milkyway Running scheduler milkyway Running feeder milkyway Not Running transitioner milkyway Not Running milkyway_purge milkyway Not Running milkyway_av milkyway Not Running file_deleter milkyway Not Running When will the system be up for crunching again? Go away, I was asleep

I imagine it has to do with getting the GPU project going. *edit* Though, how hard is it to post on the homepage what is being done???? Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected? If it makes sense, DON'T do it. |

OK -- so three of us have noticed -- I didn't see this thread when I was first starting my thread. Sadly, of late, communications over here has fallen off a lot in the past month or so....

Looks like the feeder is running now -- but with the 2 hour outage and the very thin work unit margin here, there is no work available -- might be that way for a while (guessing in an informational vacuum mode here).

Well I had nothing to do with this one. I hope travis wasnt working on something. I tried to start up everything but the AV wouldn't start back up. So I think Travis needs to take a look at it because the only thing I could think of is that he was doing something. Assimilator/Validator not working May 18, 2009 I'm working on the assimilator and validator right now so hopefully I'll have them running shortly. Except a large news update this week by wednesday -- our CUDA application is almost working so it should be out by then. I'm just doing some last tests before I put out the alpha code for everyone. |

And then back down with the entire site. We are now back to where we were 6 hours or so ago. So *something* is going on that doesn't get solved by a simple restart. I see all the servers were back up and pumping about 18.20 UTC.
