I sent you an email with the log of how I reattached to BOINC alpha. It shows some differences to my log in post 62. Yes, I noticed that. It hasn't fixed the problem though. I even detached and reattached again, but still the same. Now I wonder why we're internally moved to http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway Why can't we just attach to that URL? Trying that, the log changes but the outcome is the same. 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||Fetching configuration file from http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/get_project_config.php 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||[http_debug] HTTP_OP::init_get(): http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/get_project_config.php 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||[http_debug] [ID#18] info: About to connect() to milkyway.cs.rpi.edu port 80 (#0) 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||[http_debug] [ID#18] info: Trying 128.213.28.20... 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||[http_debug] [ID#18] info: Connected to milkyway.cs.rpi.edu (128.213.28.20) port 80 (#0) 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||[http_debug] [ID#18] Sent header to server: GET /milkyway/get_project_config.php HTTP/1.1 User-Agent: BOINC client (windows_intelx86 5.10.22) Host: milkyway.cs.rpi.edu Accept: */* Accept-Encoding: deflate, gzip Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||[http_debug] [ID#18] Received header from server: HTTP/1.1 200 OK 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||[http_debug] [ID#18] Received header from server: Date: Thu, 04 Oct 2007 01:23:24 GMT 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||[http_debug] [ID#18] Received header from server: Server: Apache 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||[http_debug] [ID#18] Received header from server: Content-Length: 1511 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||[http_debug] [ID#18] Received header from server: Content-Type: text/xml 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||[http_debug] [ID#18] info: Expire cleared 04-Oct-07 3:23:42||[http_debug] [ID#18] info: Closing connection #0 04-Oct-07 3:23:43|Einstein@Home|[checkpoint_debug] result h1_0520.20_S5R2__162_S5R3a_0 checkpointed 04-Oct-07 3:23:54||[http_debug] HTTP_OP::init_get(): http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/lookup_account.php?email_addr=xxxxxxx%40planet%2Enl&passwd_hash=9d41f1802512bee599119f37c54826a9 04-Oct-07 3:23:54||[http_debug] [ID#19] info: About to connect() to milkyway.cs.rpi.edu port 80 (#0) 04-Oct-07 3:23:54||[http_debug] [ID#19] info: Trying 128.213.28.20... 04-Oct-07 3:23:54||[http_debug] [ID#19] info: Connected to milkyway.cs.rpi.edu (128.213.28.20) port 80 (#0) 04-Oct-07 3:23:54||[http_debug] [ID#19] Sent header to server: GET /milkyway/lookup_account.php?email_addr=xxxxxxx%40planet%2Enl&passwd_hash=9d41f1802512bee599119f37c54826a9 HTTP/1.1 User-Agent: BOINC client (windows_intelx86 5.10.22) Host: milkyway.cs.rpi.edu Accept: */* Accept-Encoding: deflate, gzip Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded 04-Oct-07 3:23:54||[http_debug] [ID#19] Received header from server: HTTP/1.1 200 OK 04-Oct-07 3:23:54||[http_debug] [ID#19] Received header from server: Date: Thu, 04 Oct 2007 01:23:36 GMT 04-Oct-07 3:23:54||[http_debug] [ID#19] Received header from server: Server: Apache 04-Oct-07 3:23:54||[http_debug] [ID#19] Received header from server: Content-Length: 139 04-Oct-07 3:23:54||[http_debug] [ID#19] Received header from server: Content-Type: text/xml 04-Oct-07 3:23:54||[http_debug] [ID#19] info: Closing connection #0 04-Oct-07 3:23:59||[http_debug] HTTP_OP::init_get(): http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/ 04-Oct-07 3:24:00||[http_debug] [ID#20] info: About to connect() to milkyway.cs.rpi.edu port 80 (#0) 04-Oct-07 3:24:00||[http_debug] [ID#20] info: Trying 128.213.28.20... 04-Oct-07 3:24:00||[http_debug] [ID#20] info: Connected to milkyway.cs.rpi.edu (128.213.28.20) port 80 (#0) 04-Oct-07 3:24:00||[http_debug] [ID#20] Sent header to server: GET /milkyway/ HTTP/1.1 User-Agent: BOINC client (windows_intelx86 5.10.22) Host: milkyway.cs.rpi.edu Accept: */* Accept-Encoding: deflate, gzip Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded 04-Oct-07 3:24:00||[http_debug] [ID#20] Received header from server: HTTP/1.1 200 OK 04-Oct-07 3:24:00||[http_debug] [ID#20] Received header from server: Date: Thu, 04 Oct 2007 01:23:42 GMT 04-Oct-07 3:24:00||[http_debug] [ID#20] Received header from server: Server: Apache 04-Oct-07 3:24:00||[http_debug] [ID#20] Received header from server: Transfer-Encoding: chunked 04-Oct-07 3:24:00||[http_debug] [ID#20] Received header from server: Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 04-Oct-07 3:24:00||[http_debug] [ID#20] info: Closing connection #0 04-Oct-07 3:24:04|Milkyway@home|Deferring communication for 1 min 0 sec 04-Oct-07 3:24:04|Milkyway@home|Reason: Couldn't parse scheduler list Jord. HAHA yeah, it took me a while, but it should be fixed now =D Yup, I've got one result and am crunching it as I type this. :-) Now everyone attached to just http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu should detach and reattach to http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway Jord. The BOINC FAQ Service. |

HAHA yeah, it took me a while, but it should be fixed now =D Keep an eye out on the runtime if you are running Windows! I seem to go over 100% complete with the 1.05 Windows application, but this time I will let it run a bit longer to see if it does end somewhere! ;) Regards, Bob P. |

Keep an eye out on the runtime if you are running Windows! I noticed that. The stderr.txt keeps growing in the slot as well. Already over 20MB. I just hope it doesn't need to upload all that. ;-) Jord. The BOINC FAQ Service. |

Apparently the windows version thinks there is a memory leak, and its outputting all the modules it's dumping to stderr.txt... I'm working on a fix for that too ;D Already over 45MB... how big a file can I expect in the end? (I've got 6.93GB free on that partition, so I won't run into space trouble any time soon... I just hope it doesn't want to upload that all, as the new client is supposed to upload more than just the first 64KB of the stderr.txt file. ;-)) Jord. The BOINC FAQ Service. |

Do you remember the messages from awhile ago that would claim that we did not have enough memory no matter the size of your HD? ;) ![]() |
