I'll one day be able to take up an offer I've had to visit some folks in San Francisco.

I worked near there once, it was Seriously Wierd.

Hi Es99
You have picked the best(mildest) weather in Canada, although you may not notice a big difference in precipitation. I've been told that the U.K. is prone to rainy grey days, as is B.C.! Anyway, if you go on a road trip to Toronto, let me know I'll try to get a list of interesting places to go in the area, ready for you. Good luck on your move.

Emigrating to....?

West coast of Canada hopefully. London is not a good place for kids..especially teenage boys so I need to get out.

That's a bit of a change. Now you'll have to end your sentences with "eh". Good luck with that. 'Eh.

I'm wondering what to buy for my birthday.

{Lady Bracknell voice on}

A handbag?

{Lady Bracknell voice off}

;-)))

I'm still too attached to the one I got in Vegas. I haven't bought a new handbag for nearly 9 months!! This is possibly a record for a handbag addict like myself.

Greetings,

Is this a "members only" board or can anyone drop in and say...

HI Y'ALL!!! :)

Hey Siran! Nice of you to drop in. :)

@Bruce. I know the weather very well in the Vancouver area..and it is very similar to London, with perhaps more sunshine in the summer months.

It's a lovely place and a far better quality of life.

Hey, where ya been you old reprobate?!

Greetings Chris,

Oh, I've been around. I just don't get around to posting on project boards much. I still keep my milestones thread going on SETI. That's about it.

I only posted here this morning because I had read something somewhere else about some who are here and decided to see what was up. I figured I'd say hello while here.

Well, gotta go, got much other stuff to do. Catch y'all later!

Keep on BOINCing!

Greetings Es,

I have driven through and spent quite a lot of time in B.C. I loved it there every time I went. There's a lot of wilderness there, so be careful and don't get lost in the woods. ;) If you do, remember, moss grows on the north side of trees. That's how you can determine direction when you cannot see the sun or stars. :)

Keep on BOINCing!

Not watched Survivorman have you? Moss grows on any side of the trees. ;)

Handbag hook

How cool is that??

Edit: This one is pretty neat too. Foldable handbag hook

Pretty cool I guess.

How does that keep your handbag from getting nicked?

I see a lot of new people coming in!

You use it to hook your handbag from the table rather than the back of the chair or leaving it on the floor.

Hiya Siran-hope all is well.

All is well. I am keeping very busy these days which pretty much keeps me away from posting on project fora. I still read when something grabs my attention. That was how I ended up here this morning.
