@ Bruce and Me friends, When it's time for my bandage change on Thursday I will post pics of the mark of Zoro. It's amazing how they can make things look a lot worse than they did to make the repairs. I got a crappin "Z" in the palm of my hand! Jim Scott PEACE or Pistols...Yer Choice ;-} |

You've been tagged!! You are now the Z-man!! Just don't carry a sword, :p. Is your thumb ok? Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected? If it makes sense, DON'T do it. |

Hi Jim. Yep, know where you are coming from, as I've had 3 hand ops in the last 10 years. You never do know exactly how much use you will regain until about a month after. They can usually avoid any tendon damage but it depends upon the skill of the surgeon whether or not any nerves get severed. I've been lucky 3 times, I'm not chancing it a 4th! Actually I do have the marks of Zorro on both hands due to the particular incisions that they make when dealing with Dupuytren's. There was an actual reason for my response! |

So You've been slotted(Zorro Slots in the Amiga Computer used the term Zorro too), Well I hope You regained as much flexibility as You could, My left ankle is ok, Not great as I had no rehab and so I had to start flexing the ankle on My own instead, That was fun, At first I couldn't even flex the foot off to the left while trying to go to sleep and the weight of the blankets were almost too much, But It's better now in any case. I can't walk or stand for too much as then the ankle complains. |

So You've been slotted(Zorro Slots in the Amiga Computer used the term Zorro too), Well I hope You regained as much flexibility as You could I got about 90% back from each hand. The last time, I had physio from a very attractive aussie girl, the usual ultrasound, plus manipulation etc. Unfortunately she pushed it a bit too far and I bust a couple of stitches with some bleeding. It really damn hurt and my language would have made a Navy stoker blush. But she took it in her stride and just said ooops, we'll take it a bit easier next time! |

Mine have grown up and gone their own ways, but they were - boy, girl, boy - and fought like cats in a bag. Now all is peace, or some such ... Go away, I was asleep |

Boys are just rumbustious and noisy. How about getting them in a local 5 a side footy team, that should tire them out soon enough? |

Yesterday my two boys came back home from a week on a holiday camp. ;-) They love it. And I love it. hehe There they have lots of kids to play with all the time, and grown ups who are there to be With them - all day. Must be heaven, ehh? ;-D They are doing all kind of activities, and also get to go in the BIG pool at least once every day. My oldest have been there every year since he was 7. My youngest went first time this year. Both were very happy for it, and sad when the week was over. - even if they both shouted; Home - dear home - when they went over our door step. hehe This camp its Red Cross who stands for. And its held on the location of a big International school not too far away.. When holiday, its free for these kind of acitivties. Can`t be other than highly recommended. ;-) |
