Well the place with the 2001 Mustang GT just called back and I found out something, To finance the car with My lack of credit they'd want $4000 down(or 72.74% down, lovely) or $2500 cash plus the car I have now which has a Kelly Bluebook trade in value of $1500, So the car is out of My reach even at $5499 which is what I offered, The asking price is $6499 of course, So that's It, So much for being able to finance anything. And this reeks. :(

On second thought I didn't hear the guy say He wanted My Car for any amount.

I hate having this happen... I'm really down now. :( :( :(

Well some good news from me then. I just got back from Tiger Direct, its a discount computer store. Anyway I had them build me an i7-920 with a gtx275 & 6 gigs of ram and a 750 watt ps. I take delivery by Friday, so I hope to have it grunching by Sat morning.

SJ...Credit is super tight right now...Even with all the "special" programs going around...there are some who do not qualify who may have qualified before the credit crunch...Hang in there...i think things will loosen up in a few months.

Yes Chris, I will probably be kicking myself in the butt for spending so much $$ next time $$ gets a little tight but, I've always wanted a GOOD machine and I'm pretty sure no one else is going to buy me one! So I figured while I had the $$ it was time to treat myself!! I've been such a good boy for the Doctors for the last 7 years(long story)I figured I deserved it. Anyway now I have to set the beast up from scratch!!! I haven't done that in at least 5 yrs so wish me luck!!! Any tips on making set-up a little easier would be greatly appreciated! The computer techs at the store I had this built at were not very busy, I guess, because it only took them a couple hours to put my machine together for me, so I picked it up last night and now I am reading alll my instructions, this might take a little while! I'm going to log off now to start my set-up. I have to shut this machine down too because I'm going to use a KVM for this machine and the new one too.

Well! I took an early retirement, and am now a part time worker at the same place I was working at before.

I'm making 60% of my regular pay doing NOTHING, or working part time to supplement my income a couple of days a week!

I could really get used to this!
