I'm feeling a little better today and wondering if I should risk going out to my son's sports day or whether that will make me feel unwell again.

I think he really wants me to go, but won't say because he knows I've been ill :(

I just failed the British Citizen test with a score of 11.

See how well you do: UK Citizenship test

I answered 12 correctly of the 24.

Is that a pass, I didn't notice what they said?

I took 6 minutes 33 seconds.

I should have said - HELLO!

Glad to see you are back in the world of movement and outdoors, Es.
Go away, I was asleep

You have failed the practice citizenship test.

Questions answered correctly: 15 out of 24 (63%)

So I'm still top of the class then even though I failed?

Shouldn't there be a grading curve? It would mean we all passed then. :p

Don't worry, this is the UK, it will get dumbed down before too long. Give it 18 months we'll be letting amoebas in.

I took it yesterday and got 16 correct, mostly lucky guesses.

But I still failed. :(

Most tests that I've ever had to take I pass. Citizenship test, Hmm, Being I was born here that's one test I don't have to take, But I could pass as I'm educated enough in the right areas already.

Newsflash, Labbie: since the early 70s in the USA, 65 (or even 60) and above is considering passing. :)

Never had that in my schools. Then again I don't think it would have made a difference, they all would get passed anyways (no matter the grade). :/

I can't tell you how many times I would be .5% or less from the next grade and my teachers would not give me the better one, but the other students would get it. (college too),(even when I did extra credit work that was supposed to bump me up) :(

Way back in my youth', back about 1954, I was in a class of 15 pupils. We took a maths examination and my score was 98%. Was it a pass, like h*** it was! My form position was 13th or nearly the bottom of the class.

TRUE.

I once scored 104% on a class math test. I think there was some grade boundary normalisation going on there.
