Yes, HD4770@stock (960 GFlops) vs. HD4850@stock (1000 GFlops) is almost no difference. Even your overclock to 665MHz only yields 1064 GFlops a mere 10% more than a stock HD4770, exactly in line with your times. Furthermore there is a slight dependence on the CPU load (and speed). If you load all your CPU cores with other work, the GPU has sometimes to wait a bit for the CPU to launch the next kernel (which calculates the stuff on the GPU).
