All GPU tasks run High Priority?

Why do most tasks (22/24 at the moment) run High Priority (0.10 CPU)- default 0.19f (3) tasks shown as actually progressing at one time- or does it even matter? All 24 are shown as running at the same time. At the moment there are no CPU projects attached to this quad w/ 4870. |

Why do most tasks (22/24 at the moment) run High Priority (0.10 CPU)- default 0.19f (3) tasks shown as actually progressing at one time- or does it even matter? All 24 are shown as running at the same time. The 3 day return time causes them to run in high-priority. Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected? If it makes sense, DON'T do it. |

Why do most tasks (22/24 at the moment) run High Priority (0.10 CPU)- default 0.19f (3) tasks shown as actually progressing at one time- or does it even matter? All 24 are shown as running at the same time. If the total summed calculation time divided by the resource share is less than the wu deadline minus around 1 day and your 'connect' preference is less than this number then you should not see this behaviour, but in saying this I am also seeing it. BOINC scheduling really is fubar. |
