So if you connect the screen using DVI you get flickering while the CAL application is running, but if you connect it using VGA you don't? I didn't really understand the technical details, sorry; what's your native language?

Ukrainian or Russian. He should ask Ice as he also comes from the Ukraine and will most probably speak both, at least if Ice is not a Russian Ukrainian ;)

I speak neither Ukrainian or Russian but I do understand some written/spoken Ukrainian and a little Polish also. I am more likely to speak German and certainly understand some of that since I was born in Germany and could well be my first language except that my parents spoke only Ukrainian at home, which they also did at first when we moved to England. I only speak English now, except when I am in Europe on holiday where German is spoken and like some magic it comes back to me and my older brothers ask me where I learnt it. Duh, like you in Germany when we were kids, remember?

I see. Guess that's why you joined Team England and not an Ukrainian one.

I had a short look on the profile and the website of Team Ukraine (_KoDAk_) belongs to and for me it looks Russian and not Ukrainian (it's a fairly even split between the languages in the Ukraine). But the differences are subtle to most foreigners ;)
There was a time (me being half as old as now) I was able to do some conversation in Russian and today I can at least still read the Cyrillic letters (with some effort). But frankly, I don't understand it anymore.

By the way, I have a Polish name, but neither I, my parents nor my grandparents speak/spoke it. I can't even pronounce my name correctly. I guess Dave Przybylo here from the MW project may have similar problems. That Przy... is just too hard for non Polish tongues ;)

But I'm able to speak a really fluent German with a hard to deny North German colouring. But that is easy as a German who has never lived further away than 10km from the Baltic Sea :)

Duh, like you in Germany when we were kids, remember?

What?

What?

A few years ago I was driving through Germany with two brothers on our way to visit another brother in Denmark. We stopped for some food and while my two brothers, who spoke German very well, were deciding on what to have I went ahead and spoke to the waitress and ordered my food. They both looked at me, a little amazed since they assumed I couldn't speak German any more, and asked me where I had learned German. To which I replied "Duh, like you in Germany when we were kids, remember?"

One of my fellow knights can use a little help. I posted over in the Q&A forum but it looks like nobody posts there. Here is a link to the topic. Please post there as that's where he'll be looking. He can't post himself as he has no credit.

Yeah, and my parents named me Cluster because they've known right from the beginning that I will study physics and finally became a cluster physicist ;)

I'd make a joke about Buckyballs if I could think of a clean one.
