I have a 4790k that I upgraded to a few months back, just wondered how to test it :) Still won't be anywhere near as fast as the GPU though!

So I was just re-reading the thread, slightly confused as to how to do a CPU benchmark, is it just a simple case of disabling GPU and let a WU run only on CPU.

BTW usao I think messaged me, I did reply, but for those that want to find their list of tasks go here and then click the Tasks link.

Ha, yes sorry, 925mhz stock, 975mhz boost, but as I always see it at 975mhz that's stock for me :-)

It's a good card, gets through units quick enough for me.

Sorry can't help you on the 7970 question :-)

Thanks, will take a look at the weekend. I don't see it going over 80c most of the time, not sure what the TDP of these cards is but doubt its less than 90c.
I may try the Sapphire Trixx software again and see if that lets me overclock it.

Just adding mine.I usually get around 34 seconds. Had some issues with nbody computations the last few days so won't show those days runs as it caused problems.

Yes I've noticed the same today, I wondered why my CPU wasn't doing much and it seems this is the culprit, I did reboot earlier when I noticed another task doing the same and that seemed to clear it IIRC.
I haven't had the BSODs though, computer running fine otherwise, the GPU tasks are running as normal.
