updated the CPU applications

Posted 12 Oct 2010 by Duhhh Post: Would this also explain why I have 4 4-core Xeon systems cranking on MW tasks, and for the past 3 days it looks like no credit has been earned? Some of the tasks are MW 0.04, some are N-Body 0.07. They seem to be completing, a couple are listed as error, one was invalid, and only two are pending. These systems usually get ~1500-2000 cred/day on each machine. Systems running different OS's (Linux, Vista, Win7). None do GPU work. |

Max tasks in progress?
(Message 40619)
Posted 24 Jun 2010 by Duhhh Post: I know it has been explained, but did you make it to the end of my post before you got annoyed? Because of other "lazy" projects, I want a 3 day queue (in fact, that isn't enough most of the time), but I can't set it for THEM without setting it for MW. So I was wondering if there was another way to suppress the error messages (a MW-specific setting that says, "you don't need 3 days for this project, thank you!") |

Max tasks in progress?
(Message 40607)
Posted 23 Jun 2010 by Duhhh Post: I have a couple of quad-core systems running BOINC, and have them configured to keep 3 days of work in queue (some other projects...errr...can't provide new work for days at a time). With MW, this results in a "Message from server: (reached limit of 24 tasks in progress)" every couple of minutes. Since there's no project-specific queue size setting, is there another way to tell MW how many tasks to request? |
