That's also using computing power that could be used for science. Not saying anything about Elite: Dangerous or other graphics intensive steam games then. Imagine the power that would be available if there was a screensaver for the SETISaver guys to watch while they also donate their CPU/GPU power. There are plenty in the crowd of "It has a screensaver so I don't mind donating CPU power but if there's nothing in it for me, I'm not interested"...
