Little help for those using opti apps.

Posted 28 Mar 2011 by Ronald Post: I've just come across an optimised CPU app (astronomy_0.21_SSE3.exe) which i miss filed about a year ago and thus never installed after i upgraded my processor. Can i still use this? If yes then my milkyway project folder contains: milkyway_0.45_windows_intelx86.exe milkyway_0.50_windows_intelx86_sse2.exe milkyway_nbody_0.04_windows_intelx86.exe milkyway_nbody_0.21_windows_intelx86_see2.exe but the accompanying app_info only references the astronomy_0.21_SSE3 app and the _nbody_0.04 executable. CPU-Z shows my processor as MMX(+) 3DNow!(+) SSE(1,2,3,4A) x86-64 AMD-V 1. I'm pretty sure it uses the nbody_0.04, but what do i keep, or would a reset project be a better idea. 2. after (1.) is sorted do i just update the app_info? |
