When I checked previously there were only 15 of those. Half of my hosts cannot connect to the server. The other half, when managing to connect, get only a handful of WUs. Quite a bit of a mess I'd say.

It sounds like it has been approved and they are sending us a new drive (soon!). I can't believe you don't have a spare for something this important. If money is a problem, I'm sure many of us would donate. Definitely, I think redundancy is very important and many of the volunteers will support that.

Status says there are plenty, but I'm not getting any. edit. ok that was weird. I've gotten some now. Yes, the server gives WUs in a random pattern. Even if one requests work manually, the server sometimes sends a random amount of WUs (as far as I can tell) and sometimes doesn't send anything at all. Totally weird.

It's a bit over the top to suspend all WUs just for that. Whatever the reason, they should have communicated it by now, not very helpful on their part.

I downloaded the file from https://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/download/ and copied it manually to the project folder. Greetings Marcus Thanks for the advise, downloading the .exe file sorted it out for me too (from the 3rd attempt).

I am not particularity bothered about the pauses since the WUs are completing OK and without errors. I was rather curios if there is something wrong on my part, but if this is normal then that's OK. And I am running 4 WUs concurrently per GPU, that helps but on couple of the GPUs the pauses are still noticeable.
