Project auto-update
(Message 52116)
Posted 29 Dec 2011 by Rechenkuenstler Post: To get new task, I always have to click on the update button. It never gets new tasks on it's own. If you are using app_info.xml file, it might occur, that you are running out of work. I had the same problem. Solution: Create a scheduled task, which runs a cmd file e.g every 6 hours. The command file should contain the following command line: C:\Program Files\Boinc\boinccmd.exe --project milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway update The scheduled task then updates milkyway every six hours. |
