If I understand your reply (and not sure I do!,) All my current BOINC machines are running Linux Debian (desktops) or Linux Ubuntu (Jetson Nano.) Both desktops have the most current drivers allowed by the Debian distro's. The GTX1050i, on stretch, drivers are still in the 300 series dang it, while the brand new RTX2070 Super, in Buster, is in the 400 series via backports. This message post is coming from the Buster desktop if that's important, while the earlier one came from the Stretch.

It appears I cannot copy and paste from the BOINC task window, dang it, but it's N-Body Sim 1.76 (mt.)

I bought this VERY expensive (for me) graphics board just so I could make LHC go faster and apparently it's not happening with MilkyWay.

Will try Einstein and see how that goes. GPUGrid seems to be using it just fine, but what do I know?

3) Questions and Answers : Preferences : Half the cpu's not being used? (Message 69603)

this computer has 16 cores and 32 thread capability. When looking at MilkyWay tasks, it only ever shows "16 CPU's" being used. Other BOINC projects show all 32. Do I have a setting wrong somewhere?
Thanks.

How does one verify this? I know LHC is using it (and how!)
