I apologize for not mentioning the BOINC version. I guess the sand I was driving in was a little softer than what I thought...lol. My specs: Win7 64-bit 8GB RAM ATI Radeon HD4850 w/2GB CCC 11.5 BOINC 6.10.60 ALL Drivers current I've only seen 2 out of the many I've ran since then. My GPU seems to be the one that has the trouble, as the CPU is doing great. I'm not going to complain much if only 2 out of 20 have exceeded time limits. Paul

3) Message boards : News : maximum time limit elapsed bug (Message 48603) Posted 8 May 2011 by Rainmaker* Post: Originally, I was experiencing the "timed out" error and the WU's only had an estimated time of 0:00:06 to 0:00:10 each. There was a fix applied and the times then went up to around normal - around 3:30 to 4:00 each. I had approximately 10 old WU's that were downloaded around 2:15 a.m. EDT (5/8). I opened one up for work and it timed out as before, and I received new 2 WU's around 1:30 p.m. EDT (5/8). The first one downloaded and was completed, as well as the second one. When the second one was completed, I was given ONE new WU instead of having the usual limit of 12. I'm not complaining about not getting any work, just advising of what's happened. Here's my rig's information: BOINC Version 6.10.58 - all programs are NOT OPTIMIZED Platform: Microsoft Windows7 64-bit Home Premium 8Gb RAM Intel Core2 Quad Q8400 ATI HD4850 I am also attached to PrimeGrid and Collatz, both using GPU. 4) Message boards : Number crunching : Computation error (Message 48565) Posted 8 May 2011 by Rainmaker* Post: I'm glad to hear and see that I'm not the only one who is getting Computation Error messages. All my WU's are showing up as estimated time around 10 seconds. What seems to be happening is that the computation error is because the maximum time allowed to compute that specific WU has been exceeded - at least that's how I interpret the messages. Anyway, hope they'll get it fixed soon. I think I'm going to suspend MW until later on Sunday and give it a try.

But at this very second, I'm listening to the rain outside my window. There's something metal on the ground and where the water runs off the roof, it hits the metal and I'm beginning to get VERY sleepy. Maybe I'm getting sleepy because it's almost 3:00 a.m. EDT too!
