I'm told this app_info.xml needs to be created and saved somewhere? I'd appreciate some help on doing this for a Win7 64 bit system. Hey Chooka, I figured it out for Windows 10 x86_64, but the instructions should be the same for Windows 7. The easy way is to: 1. Download this zip file. 2. Shutdown the BOINC client 3. Extract the contents of the ZIP to C:/ProgramData/BOINC/projects/milkyway.cs.rpi.edu_milkyway. 4. Start BOINC again. If you do not trust the ZIP file, extract app_info.xml from it, and download the executables yourself. Happy crunching :D.[/quote]
