Hi forum,

Thanks Kashi for the reply.

Please excuse the ignorance but where can I find the "app_info.xml" file ?

I'll have a go at your recommendations.

Many thanks,

semper-linux

Hi forum,

Thanks for the replies.

Post 1 - I don't know how to check if results are valid. The machine processes the files and after the estimated time (more or less) they are "ready to upload" and uploaded.
Post 2 - I think the version I'm running is from the Berkeley site as the previous version kept losing the BOINC taskbar (not the Project task bar).
I've just checked - version is 6.10.59 / wxWidgets version 2.8.11

RobertMiles - No GPU in this baby - hardware is an Acer 7740G laptop, Core i3, 4 GB, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470 running Kubuntu 11.04.

Len LE/GE - See above for version in use. The following are the "recommended" versions - 0.88, 0.82(ati14), 0.82(cuda_opencl) - how do I relate that to the version no. in Help / About BOINC Manager ?

Why does Einstein run without any problem ?

Thanks for your input

HiForum,

I posted this subject on BOINCstats and was advised to try here...

I signed up with BOINCstats short ago and have been processing a couple of projects since about 15th Aug.

Project 1 - Einstein@Home - credits at about 7500 and incrementing normally.
Project 2 - MilkyWay@Home - credits stuck at768 since 16th August - have processed every day but no more credits - should be roughly similar to Einstein project credits.

I don't think the problem is with BOINCstats as project Einstein is running as it should.

Anyone any ideas ?

Many thanks
J.R.Miller.
