There size of this(info from wiki) is diameter: 100.000 light years Thikness 3000 to 16000 lighting years Like you can see it can not be endless project like SETI ;-) How many FLOPS we need to make a job for 111 light yers? And how many does we have? Our sun system Model is allright there. The value of this is just few Minutes of Light. What about the rest of project?
