On my 1920x1080 it takes up more than half of the screen, and is most annoying when paging through tasks, as it always insists on redrawing it at the top forcing me to scroll down every time to see any tasks. For me I would prefer no banner at all. We all know where we are after all, and we don't really need it, and that would surely be the quickest way of solving the problem. I might add that on the top of my 1200 x 1920 portrait monitor it looks fine and doesn't interfere too much but even then it is still irritating when looking at tasks and on the forum.
