Increased WU Credit
(Message 2804)
Posted 25 Mar 2008 by teemac Post: The new credits are showing as 4.06 per W/U (300seconds) on my quads. This makes around 195 cr per hour on each quad box. MW now one of the highest per hour along with ABC (198 per hour) that I am currently crunching. |

Posted 24 Mar 2008 by teemac Post: Just for interest sake, I present the following info. I keep all my project data in spreadsheets for the last several years. These stats are made up of last 150 valid W/U's from each project per machine which are automatically analysed as follows per core: Projects over last 3 months ALL running 64bit Ubuntu/Kubuntu Linux Values per core per hour ALL standard speeds - no overclocks Project x2/4600 Q6600 XP3500 (twincore) (quadcore) (singlecore) ABC 49.47 50.56 45.75 Cosmo 35.80 43.01 33.12 Pirates 10.73 12.40 8.68 Poem 26.50 25.73 26.03 Simap 25.64 26.57 26.10 MilkyWay 36.72 35.46 34.20 pre-optimized @ 6.50 cr/wu MilkyWay 82.67 76.65 76.74 new-optimized @ 6.50 cr/wu MilkyWay 27.84 25.64 25.60 new-optimized @ 2.17 cr/wu Make of it what you will - but 2.17 is a bit low putting it in the lowest earning projects. |

Wish list :
20 WU per core - not per host
(Message 1541)
Posted 20 Jan 2008 by teemac Post: I would also like the limit to changed to at least 20 WU per core. My Quads need more work as they just eat up 20 WU per machine really fast and then BOINC jumps back over to my backup project. This means that MilkyWay is not getting my full attention |
