On average, I have completed two thirds of it (in high priority status, even with Einstein@Home suspended completely) when my deadline runs out and I have to Abort, 30-ish hours of processing wasted, which is a shame as I want to be able to contribute. Is there any way of flagging for an extended deadline or a smaller WU ? |

Visualization/Screensaver Work
(Message 36909)
Posted 3 Mar 2010 by Ivor Cogdell Post: Hi gang, The potential screensaver work has encouraged me to re connect to the project. I would be happy with anything that displays the progress that has been made. Feedback is worth its weight in gold, other projects should take note. |

Totalometer
(Message 3229)
Posted 16 Apr 2008 by Ivor Cogdell Post: Hey gang, I realise that the guys working away in the back room can`t put a 3d representation of the Milky way map as we are redrawing it on the net, as that hopefully will have research value. But how about a totaliser to show the percentage coverage of the current sky survey that we have jointly completed so far ? It may speed up progress. Anu other suggestions to the site ? Regards all, Ivor |

(Message 1735)
Posted 19 Feb 2008 by Ivor Cogdell Post: Hi Gang, This is the third time that I have received a "Computational Error" on completion of a work unit. I have not been running MW long, running with it was Rosetta, Seti and Einstein were presently suspended. Running XP sp2. Using Boinc 5.10.28. Any Ideas ?
