1) Message boards : Number crunching : GPU Crash (Nvidia GTX 460) (Message 52823) Posted 5 Feb 2012 by plipz Post: I got a problem running the cuda_opencl projects in Milkyway@home. I crunch for days at a time and sometimes my system mysteriously hangs while crunching these GPU tasks. I reformatted my system 3 times already and checked both HDD and RAM to see if they were stable, everything is fine. Prior to freeze/hang no event is recorded in the Event Viewer. My board comes with a debug led it too indicates no problem. System only hangs if the GPU tasks are running. An intermittent problem as I said I can crunch for days w/o any problem then out of the blue my system freezes and I have to do a hard reset. What do you propose is wrong? I got the latest Nvidia drivers 285.62 and they have beta drivers for download, should I try using that?
