Now we watch the RACs coming down from the stratosphere to normal levels over the next month.

Yeah, kinda sucks but at least everyone is equal now!

There's two types of 'stripe' searches going right now. One pays ~10, the other ~40.

Here's Travis' post about it.

Back to reality and normal credit levels

Yep! While I liked the higher credits I think having everyone on a level field is better. And Travis can spend his time on THE app. instead of trying to keep everyone happy across multiple apps!

The longer WUs are generating ~40 credits each (because they're about 4x longer).

Sorry Travis but thats not the case. Just caught 2 as soon as they finished and they only gave about 10 credits each.

OK, so just to be clear I've already got "run test apps" set do I need to detach/reattach in order to get work now?

EDIT: OK,... cool detach/reattach works!

Travis, this is hopeless! You need 1 app and spend your time working on it instead of trying to fix all the problems with 10 apps! Its not about the crunchers.... its about the science! While I do like the credit's I'm getting from the opp. app.(credit whore)I joined for the project itself! Get 1 app. working and dont accept work from other apps! A simple "reset project" or "detach/reattach" should take care of it. Put everyone on level ground and get rid of all this drama! If you want to update the app later,... cool EVERYONE updates!

Just my 2cents!

This stragety seems to be working for me. My Quads are staying at 20 tasks. As soon as any are done they are reported and replaced.

Same here but also my pendings are still growing.

Now starting to pull work down, but it is coming in dribs abd drabs (1 to 3 Wus at a time every minute.)

I must say the caches have a long long way to go before they hit the 20 WU limit per core.

I'm already bumping the client on my quad! Life is good again! Bite me Murphy!!

No pressure but every time I put my quad on a different project, about 10min's later MW fills my box's up!

Ha, I have noticed this behavior as well. *grin*

Strange how that works huh? Hope your over your cold!

EDIT: And there we go!! Just got 15wu's for a start! HeHeHe!

I thought the drought was over but I quit getting wu's again! Come on Travis I know it's the weekend but.... And BTW check the pendings, going up again.

Aww its Saturday morning - let the poor lad have his breakfast!

I've got a steady flow of nm_stripe and nm_test work so its just the Astronomy 1.22 work thats backed up.

Agreed after all the lad came in on Thanksgiving day to try and keep the project going. He needs to sleep and eat sometime even if computers don't.

No pressure but every time I put my quad on a different project, about 10min's later MW fills my box's up! Murphy is ALWAYS watching! I'd rather "kick the client" a few times!

Well with over 7,500 available work units and I am getting the message that 'No work sent', even though I have just 3 work units on one 4 core machine and 5 work units on another 4 core machine (the one with 5 also got the message that 'Not requesting new work', which I was requesting and still want).

Perhaps they are all 'test' work units?, which I am not processing at the moment.

Over 9k ready to send now but the transitioner backlog is at 3hrs and pendings are going through the roof!

Can the 21's be deleted? I keep getting them.

I just deleted all the 21s from the database so you shouldn't get anymore.

Still cant get any work Travis, keep bumping into that daily quota thing...HELP!

Edit: I can try to detach / reattach but I doubt if it will do anything.

Tried everything I know Travis, reset, detach/reattach, stock app., new app., EVERY APP.!

My guess is that you'll need to wait it out. Finishing good wu's will raise it backup, since you can't get any that won't work.

I do remember while doing Nano the admin was able to edit(raise) a few peoples limits so they could do more with faster pc's.

Yep thats kinda what I figured, BTW I was one of those guys that had problems at Nano! But not from fast PC! hehe!

Guess I'll do a couple wu's at cosmo....
