I have over 3000 now on Validation inconclusive, the machine is 100% stable, something wrong at the server end?

Still won't go above 210w, timed it and when running 16 units at the same time it does about as much work in the same time as when I run 4 units at once, no real difference.

No matter how many WU's I run my card won't use more than 210w when crunching, 2 / 4 / 8 units, its a 3090 and under WCG running 8 of their GPU units at the same time it will pull the full 350w, card is a 390btw, any ideas?
Here is my config file:

<app_config>
<app>
<name>milkyway</name>
<max_concurrent>50</max_concurrent>
<gpu_versions>
<gpu_usage>0.125</gpu_usage>
<cpu_usage>0.05</cpu_usage>
</gpu_versions>
</app>
</app_config>

The cards look like absolute DP beasts, according to Wikipedia the integrated graphics on Tiger lake have 1.2gf DP performance, my 3090 only has 0.5gf.
If the numbers are correct it looks like these cards are better perf per watt than a Radeon VII when the discrete ones are out (supposed to be 30w).

Hi Guys,

So I have tried running more than one unit and I can't get much of a boost from it, so for example, if I run 1 unit the completion times are around 1:40, if I run 2 they are around 3:30 so if anything they are running slower.
GPU is an RTX 3090, I checked the power usage and on a single unit it's pulling around 190w, and for two it's around 215w, I tried up to 5 and it seems to cap at 215w no matter the number of units.
The card can pull up to 350w under full load (Einstein does) so it feels like for whatever reason MW@H cant fully utilize my card even with multiple WU's.
Any ideas on how to fully use the card with multiple WU's?
My config is for two units:

<app_config>
<app>
<name>milkyway</name>
<gpu_versions>
<gpu_usage>0.5</gpu_usage>
<cpu_usage>0.05</cpu_usage>
</gpu_versions>
</app>
</app_config>

Ok yes I think I might have done that in the past to run multiple units, If I just delete all the config files should it then download the default settings / apps?

Tasks for reference.

So I am having a few problems these are :

1) units are failing to validate / invlid, not all of them as some seem to be valid as well?, I also run Seti, Einstien and Collatz all the units there are validating fine.

2) Units get to 100% and then stay there, the timer keeps going, I have seen units at 14 hours and 100%, then when I go to abort the unit the machine locks up and I get a black screen after hitting abort.

Card is a R9 Nano running stock clocks, running 16.2.2 hotfix drivers.

Any ideas? other projects seem to work fine just not Milky Way?

Just checked Boinc and it seems despite the project being active on there I have no units?

Running Windows 10 and a Radeon Fury card.

Any issues atm?

hmm it looks like the validation inconclusive units are slowly ticking over to being validated.

Any ideas why they all dropped as inconclusive?

Ok so a little backstory, I have been having issues with this card on both Seti and Einstien and now it seems on Milky way.

Seti seems to have been sorted by forcing it to just the cuda_50 units and not the 32 / 42 but time will tell on that and its still odd as people say all the units should crunch on my card.

So I then thought hmm is it just seti thats playing up so I checked my einstien stats and sure enough all the units I did before there servers went down are listed as invalid.

I then readded milky way to this machine and all the units i have just done have come up as validation inconclusive

I have posted on the other two message board and again here in the hope I can get to the bottom of it.

Card is a EVGA 970 FTW

It used to be in another machine of mine and I saw no errors when it was in that box I then moved it into this box to replace my r9 290x as that was giving me the black screen of death issue, and now since that card is in this machine I seem to have the issues.

It works fine for everything else, gaming / furmark ect but seems to be giving lots of errors on boinc?

Pulling my hair out at this point, any ideas??
