Very Long WU's
(Message 74181)
Posted 14 Sep 2022 by JIM Post: What’s with the sudden influx of long de_nbody work units? I have an 8 core machine and am used to seen WU’s that complete in 6 or 8 minutes running on all cores art once. Suddenly I am getting large numbers of WU’s with run times of 5 to 8 hours. That’s quite a change. What gives? |

GETTING MILKYWAY TO RUN ON GPU
(Message 62694)
Posted 14 Nov 2014 by JIM Post: Can someone tell me how to get Milkyway to run on my GPU. The computer has an I5 processor and is running Win7pro with 8 GB’s of RAM. I know that it is capable of running at least some projects on the GPU, because it is presently running Seti on the GPU. The GPU is a AMD AMD Radeon HD 6570/6670/7570/7670 series (Turks) (1024MB) driver: 1.4.1848 OpenCL: 1.2. Can this graphic chip run Milkyway? |
