1) Message boards : Number crunching : server msgs for GPU usage (Message 55998) Posted 28 Oct 2012 by John Huisman Post: to anyone who has more knowledge about GPU usage than myself (which would be anyone who can read..(this)..The msg, is as follows " an ATI GPU supporting double precision math is required"...I have an ATI VisionTek Radeon HD 5450 w/1024 mb.mem..During my previous project "Einstein@home" when GPU computing was introduced and they advised me that my Radeon HD 5450 would be prone to overheating with intensive use..I'm not donating GPU usage at this time but I'm curious about the msg. on weather my GPU fits that criteria
